The Role
As a key member of our team, the Laundry Attendant is responsible for collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing hotel linens, ensuring cleanliness and availability. They ensure that all linens meet quality standards before stocking supply areas and oversee the general cleanliness of the laundry area and equipment.

Your contributions to the team include:

  1. Manage the collection, sorting, washing, drying, folding, distribution, and stocking of hotel linens to maintain cleanliness and availability.
  2. Remove soiled linens from guestrooms or room attendant carts, separate items, and place them in the designated linen bins.
  3. Deliver and place empty linen bins in service areas and ensure prompt delivery of requested linens throughout the day.
  4. Additional tasks and duties as assigned.

A few things we are looking for in a new team member:

  1. Previous housekeeping experience is considered an asset.
  2. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with compact timeframes.
  3. Strong organizational skills and high energy levels.
  4. Capability to assess a situation for danger or safety issues and act accordingly.
  5. Strong communication skills.
  6. Ability to follow directions accurately and efficiently.
  7. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products.
  8. Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk for an extended period.
  9. Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
