Our Client, located in Burnaby, is seeking two highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineers to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidates will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in electrical engineering and a passion for innovation to contribute to exciting projects.

Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Development: Develop electrical system designs, specifications, and schematics for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  2. Project Management: Take ownership of assigned projects, overseeing the entire lifecycle from concept to completion. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
  3. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and safety. Implement quality assurance measures throughout the project.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, designers, and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  5. Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation including project reports, technical specifications, and drawings. Maintain accurate records of project details for future reference.
  6. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on industry regulations and standards. Ensure all electrical systems meet or exceed regulatory requirements.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization. Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Professional Engineer designation in the province of British Columbia.
  • Proven experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on design and project management.
  • Solid understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
