Lead Français 30-2 assessment development in Edmonton or Calgary with French-English mastery and large-scale assessment expertise. This temporary role is onsite.
Alberta Education and Childcare seeks a Diploma Exam Lead reporting to the Senior Manager, Humanities. You will oversee design, development, scoring, and reporting for Alberta’s Français 30-2 diploma exams. The work supports curriculum alignment, reliable results, and fairness for students across Alberta.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce valid and reliable Français 30-2 diploma examinations
- Develop assessment standards and curriculum-aligned blueprints
- Collaborate with psychometricians on fairness and validity
- Chair technical advisory committee exam reviews
- Manage written response marking and scoring processes
Requirements:
- Master’s degree plus five years related experience, or equivalent
- Valid permanent Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Subject expertise in Français 30-2 and minority Francophone education
- Advanced written and oral French and English communication
- Knowledge of large-scale assessment and psychometric principles
Apply assessment leadership, bilingual communication, and Français 30-2 expertise to provincial diploma examinations for Alberta students.
