Connect enterprise data, APIs, and AI systems as an Applied AI Engineer at WELL Health Technologies, working fully remotely across Canada. Toronto and Vancouver are preferred.
In this hands-on engineering role, you will move AI solutions from concept into production across a healthcare technology organization. You will build practical applications, intelligent agents, assistants, and workflow automations with business, data, and technology partners. Success depends on secure access patterns, scalable integrations, testing, monitoring, governance, and iteration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise applications, APIs, and data
- Partner with Data Engineering and Technology teams
- Establish secure, reliable, maintainable data access patterns
- Implement controls, guardrails, monitoring, and production evaluations
- Improve outcomes using feedback and operational metrics
Requirements:
- Five-plus years in software, solution, or related technical roles
- Production experience supporting deployed AI solutions
- Python, databases, cloud environments, and enterprise integration skills
- Large language model platforms, RAG, orchestration, and agent architectures
- Ability to balance innovation with practical delivery decisions
Use enterprise integration, Python, and responsible AI engineering skills to make WELL solutions scalable, reliable, and trusted.
