Lead commodities valuation control at TD Securities in Toronto, using IPV expertise and quantitative techniques with four onsite days weekly.
As Valuations Manager, you will oversee Commodities Valuations within TD’s Data & Analytics business. The team validates fair value for physical and financial commodity products across energy and metals. You will strengthen IPV and valuation adjustment governance, controls, methodologies, and tools across trading businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage teams conducting IPV and valuation adjustments across commodities trading businesses
- Validate broker, exchange, curve, surface, and fair value inputs
- Enhance methodologies and tools for evolving markets and products
- Partner with trading, risk, finance, technology, and operations
- Respond to audits, regulators, and valuation control inquiries
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of energy, metals, futures, options, swaps, and forwards
- Experience in valuations, IPV, product control, market risk, or trading support
- Experience leading or mentoring high-performing technical teams
- Understanding of fair value, observability, adjustments, curves, and controls
- Seven or more years of related experience and quantitative degree
