Support waste collection in Navan as a roll-off driver for Matrec, combining safe vehicle operation with dependable customer service. The permanent full-time schedule covers five days weekly, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Matrec, part of GFL, provides waste collection, recycling, and organic waste management services across North America. This driver reports to the dispatcher and ensures efficient container collection for customers. The position emphasizes route documentation, service communication, vehicle inspections, and professional client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect customer containers and wheeled bins
- Maintain communication with dispatchers during service
- Build professional relationships at collection sites
- Record daily reports, route sheets, and work orders
- Report service fulfillment anomalies to supervisors
Requirements:
- Class 3 driver’s license with F endorsement
- Previous roll-off vehicle driving experience
- Good driving record
- Strong manual dexterity and machinery interest
- Autonomy, resourcefulness, and customer service ability
