Manage marine insurance claims for Victory’s Yacht and Commercial Marine customers, using investigation, Excel, and settlement expertise.
As a Senior Claims Adjuster or Claims Examiner, you will lead claim investigation, assessment, and settlement. The position manages documentation for both Yacht and Commercial Marine departments, reports matters to underwriters, and keeps clients informed. Success requires organized work, sound judgment, accurate calculations, and effective collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and assess yacht and commercial marine insurance claims
- Report claims to underwriters and insurance companies when required
- Track claim progress and communicate status to clients
- Adjust claims within granted underwriter authority
- Submit monthly Claims Bordereaux to underwriters
Requirements:
- Five-plus years adjusting claims, including reserves and settlement
- Several years working in marine insurance
- Strong numerical ability using Excel for claim settlements
- Ability to prepare letters, file notes, and written material
- Ability to organize priorities and meet deadlines accurately
