Lead integrated waste services and fuel operations with BWXT Technical Services Canada near Chalk River, Ontario. Apply nuclear operations expertise and strategic leadership.
As General Manager, you will plan, organize, direct, and control activities supporting a high-priority CNL customer program. The mandate covers environmental liabilities, regulatory compliance, decommissioning, and waste management objectives. You will lead cross-functional teams across technical and non-technical disciplines while coordinating customer priorities, resources, budgets, and program milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multidisciplinary program activities across technical and non-technical functions
- Coordinate budgets, staffing plans, resources, and customer requirements
- Oversee waste characterization, transportation, disposal, and fuel storage
- Manage risks, scope, deliverables, performance, and operational challenges
- Engage AECL, regulators, Indigenous communities, and other stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related discipline
- Minimum 20 years’ nuclear, waste management, or environmental services experience
- Leadership experience with large cross-functional teams and strategic outcomes
- Strong risk mitigation, compliance, decision-making, and engagement skills
- Canadian security clearance eligibility and Chalk River relocation willingness
