Shape future GO Transit demand through market intelligence, strategic analysis, and investment advice across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. This role is onsite.
Metrolinx seeks a Senior Advisor to identify, assess, and monitor emerging travel markets. You will develop growth intelligence products, integrate complex datasets, and support transit investment, service expansion, and network development decisions. Collaboration with forecasting, corridor development, service planning, and strategy teams is central to the work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and monitor future GO Transit travel markets
- Develop dashboards, monitoring programs, and strategic growth analyses
- Integrate census, survey, mobility, and forecasting data
- Assess development proposals and regional growth initiatives
- Prepare executive reports, briefings, and presentations
Requirements:
- Degree in planning, geography, economics, policy, business, or related discipline
- Experience in transportation planning, market analysis, or demand forecasting
- Experience translating complex data into investment recommendations
- Proficiency with GIS, spatial analysis, databases, and dashboarding
- Strong stakeholder management, project management, and presentation skills
