Validate deep learning models in Toronto with TD, applying advanced AI/ML techniques to tabular datasets and large-scale data environments.
As an Applied Machine Learning Scientist I, you will support TD Model Validation’s AI/ML team. The work focuses on independently reviewing deep learning models across banking use cases. You will develop validation methodologies, conduct research, and communicate recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research techniques for testing deep learning models
- Develop validation methodologies and standards
- Apply statistical tests and modeling techniques
- Conduct Tabular Deep Learning evaluation research
- Communicate findings to stakeholders and management
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in quantitative discipline
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML methodologies
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow/Keras
- Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, or PySpark
- Knowledge of explainability and interpretability algorithms
