Arbor Memorial is recruiting a full-time, permanent Pre-Planning Sales Representative for Burlington Memorial Gardens and Bayview Cemetery & Crematorium. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will assess pre-arrangement needs, develop leads, and present planning options. Success requires a self-motivated, action-oriented approach, careful prioritization, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact and visit client families to assess pre-arrangement needs
- Follow referrals, walk-ins, and mail drops for new leads
- Present pre-planning benefits to community organizations and agencies
- Arrange seminars, mall shows, guest speakers, and co-sponsors
- Complete contracts, signatures, copies, and maintained files accurately
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 Ontario Funeral Director's or Funeral Pre-Planner's license
- Professional customer care experience in service organizations
- Business development, sales, or customer success experience is an asset
- Ability to prioritize multiple demands and pursue sales results
- Commitment to regulatory compliance and Arbor's values
