SOC 2 and PCI DSS compliance expertise drives this in-person Risk and Compliance Specialist role at BIS Safety Software in Sherwood Park. Own audits, controls, and risk decisions.
As Risk and Compliance Specialist, you will own BIS Safety Software’s compliance program day to day. You will coordinate SOC 2 and PCI DSS work, maintain control documentation, and lead risk assessments. The role also covers vendor reviews, privacy guidance, and data security questionnaires.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help lead SOC 2 audits and PCI DSS attestations
- Maintain control documentation across each compliance framework
- Lead risk assessments and follow mitigation through resolution
- Review vendors handling personal, financial, or client data
- Answer privacy and data tickets with accurate guidance
Requirements:
- Two or more years of hands-on compliance experience
- Experience maintaining SOC 2 controls and audit deliverables
- Experience with PCI DSS and/or GDPR requirements
- Strong data fluency across governance, retention, and information flows
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
