Palfinger Crane Service Engineer

Develop specialist expertise maintaining Palfinger lorry loader cranes across the local area as a Dealer Service Engineer. Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults on customer sites.

This Service Engineer position includes structured training and ongoing technical development. You will maintain and repair advanced lifting equipment while building capability across electrical systems, software, and LOLER requirements. The role supports Palfinger aftersales operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular servicing on Palfinger lorry loader cranes
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and software issues
• Repair crane faults on customer sites
• Complete LOLER inspections and safety checks
• Provide customer technical support and training

Requirements:

• Demonstrable Service Engineer or Plant Fitter experience
• Experience maintaining similar hydraulic equipment
• Recognised apprenticeship, C&G, NVQ, or associated qualification
• Plant Maintenance qualification or equivalent experience
• Full UK driving licence
