Your Main Responsibilities
- Develop or coordinate project deliverables including cost estimates, decision summaries, risk analyses, conceptual plans, preliminary and detailed design work.
- Develop and maintain project schedules by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
- Project cost and budget control, including change management. Preparation of project status reports to clients by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Track project performance and analyze deliverables against requirements to identify areas of improvement.
- Facilitate regular technical and client update meetings, and interface daily with clients to interpret their needs and requirements. Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
- Coordinate Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls (EIC) resources in the development of Engineering and Construction Work Packages, including deliverable dates and coordination of construction support activities.
- Assist procurement department in project specific cost management, development of project procurement plans/reports/schedules, issue resolution and vendor management.
- Coordinate EIC technical teams and deliverables within an integrated project team that consists of other engineering disciplines. Communicate EIC requirements and delegate technical tasks accordingly within the project and technical teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, completeness and quality of deliverables.
- Develop spend profiles and identify technical resources needed to reach project objectives. Prepare resource loading data and work with corporate to ensure the appropriate resources are available for the project(s). Manage project resources in an effective and efficient manner.
- Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, and specifications.
- Overseeing junior staff and teams to ensure that work continues on budget and schedule.

What Makes You Unique
- Degree or diploma from a recognized technical institute in one or more of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering/Design, Control Systems Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or comparable Industry experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of related working experience in one of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering/Design, Instrumentation Engineering, or Control Systems Engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Strong understanding of project execution and life cycle within the EPCM realm.
- Technical understanding of Electrical Engineering/Design, Instrumentation Engineering, and Controls Engineering disciplines, and the interdependencies to each other as well as other engineering disciplines in the EPCM realm.
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle with ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline.
- Proven experience working independently to organize, plan, coordinate, and manage multiple projects / tasks simultaneously including providing daily field support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors.
- Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and documents.
