Build scalable cloud platforms at Intact using Java, microservices, APIs, and automation while supporting independent delivery across shared technology services.
As a Principal Software Engineering professional, you will pair with engineers and develop working slices before teams scale technical approaches. Your scope includes cloud modernization, API-led integration, reusable capabilities, continuous delivery, and production readiness. You will improve platform resilience, maintainability, security, and total cost of ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build proofs of concept validating technical direction
- Advance cloud modernization and API-led integration priorities
- Develop reusable APIs, frameworks, and engineering automation
- Define engineering practices across delivery and production support
- Improve scalability, resilience, and platform maintainability
Requirements:
- Extensive software development and technical leadership experience
- Expertise in modern architecture, system design, and cloud platforms
- Practical Java ecosystem and web application development experience
- Experience with event-driven integration and data stores
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder-management abilities
