AECOM is currently hiring a Mechanical Engineer to support our growing team in Burnaby, BC. This position is crucial for the design and implementation of various building systems, especially in light industrial settings such as wastewater treatment facilities. You will interact with clients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and size HVAC systems with vendor coordination
• Manage construction adherence to mechanical designs
• Develop plumbing systems, including drainage and water supply
• Review mechanical designs for quality assurance
• Engage stakeholders through effective communication
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with four years’ experience
• Licensed Professional Engineer in British Columbia
• Familiarity with relevant codes and compliance standards
• Proficient in engineering software and tools
