Key Responsibilities
• Inspect community care facilities for licensing compliance
• Investigate complaints and reportable incidents
• Issue community care licenses as needed
• Provide consultation on regulations to facility operators
• Promote health and safety of vulnerable individuals in care
Requirements:
• Certificate or Diploma in an allied health discipline
• Two years of relevant experience in licensing programs
• Valid BC Driver's License for local area travel
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant provincial acts
• Ability to communicate effectively in various formats Drive regulatory compliance and quality care through your expertise as a Licensing Officer at Vancouver Coastal Health.
