Terracon seeks a Geotechnical / Construction Materials Lab Supervisor for its Canmore office. The position coordinates laboratory activities involving soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt. Responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining equipment, supporting proposals, and applying company quality protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate laboratory activities and testing services
- Supervise, train, and equip laboratory personnel
- Oversee equipment calibration, maintenance, and cleanliness
- Direct laboratory reports, proposals, and administrative systems
- Lead team safety efforts and monitor compliance
Requirements:
- Geotechnical or construction materials laboratory experience
- Knowledge of soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt testing
- Ability to supervise laboratory activities and staff
- Understanding of laboratory quality protocols and project requirements
- Ability to identify project-related risk
