Apply ultrasonic and eddy current testing expertise as an Intermediate NDE Technician/Technologist with AtkinsRéalis. Support nuclear manufacturing, inspection, and field activities.
This Level 4 technical position supports AtkinsRéalis nuclear activities and reports to the Technical Manager, NDE and Metallurgy. Perform examinations, evaluate results against approved criteria, and provide practical support to project, manufacturing, quality, and field teams. Work with multidisciplinary personnel across regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform UT and ET examinations using approved procedures
- Set up, calibrate, and operate NDE equipment
- Interpret data and evaluate indications within certification scope
- Prepare traceable examination records and technical reports
- Communicate reportable indications and equipment issues
Requirements:
- College diploma in a related technical discipline
- Current Level 2 UT and ET certifications
- Intermediate UT and ET experience in regulated environments
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and acceptance criteria
- Strong computer, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Bring certified UT and ET capability, technical judgment, and documentation discipline to AtkinsRéalis nuclear inspection activities.
