Oversee building repairs and maintenance while coordinating frontline teams in this on-site Property Maintenance Supervisor position. Apply practical knowledge across multiple trades.
Reporting to the Property Manager, the Property Supervisor oversees agency office buildings and supervises repair and maintenance teams. The work calls for building maintenance knowledge, communication skills, and beginning leadership abilities. Experience with carpentry, plumbing, electrical, furnace maintenance, or multiple-discipline projects is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee repairs and maintenance for agency office buildings
- Coordinate and supervise repair and maintenance teams
- Work effectively with frontline workers
- Apply creativity and latitude to property matters
- Travel as required for the position
Requirements:
- Knowledge of building maintenance practices
- Beginning leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to read drawings; AutoCAD knowledge is an asset
- Microsoft Word and Excel computer skills
- Valid driver’s licence or willingness to obtain one
