Build SpryPoint's QA automation function remotely across North America, combining hands-on coding with engineering leadership and framework design.
As Quality Engineering Manager, you will establish quality practices from scratch across SpryPoint products. You will select automation tooling, define standards, integrate testing into CI/CD, and guide AI-assisted testing with human review. This player-coach role balances team leadership with writing tests, building framework components, and reviewing code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the quality engineering strategy and roadmap
- Select frameworks and establish automation standards
- Write tests and build framework components
- Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Hire, coach, and grow automation engineers
Requirements:
- Seven-plus years in software quality or engineering
- Three-plus years leading and growing engineers
- Hands-on automation coding and framework experience
- Fluency with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
- Strong CI/CD and test architecture judgment
Lead quality engineering at SpryPoint through automation strategy, hands-on testing, CI/CD integration, and thoughtful team development.
