Design building electrical systems in Downtown Toronto using AutoCAD, Revit, and knowledge of power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
This Electrical Designer or Engineer opportunity is with a Toronto building consulting engineering firm. You will expand technical and project exposure through electrical design, construction documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination. The work covers projects from concept design through construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and fire alarm systems
- Prepare drawings, layouts, and construction documents
- Coordinate designs with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams
- Support projects from concept design through construction
- Assist with site reviews, field reports, and contract administration
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in electrical engineering or related discipline
- Experience in consulting engineering or building services environments
- Strong understanding of electrical systems for buildings
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Familiarity with applicable electrical codes and standards
