Embark on your engineering journey with Hatch as an Electrical Engineering Trainee in Sudbury, ON. This role focuses on electrical and power systems while offering global project exposure.
As a new graduate, you will support impactful projects within the Project Delivery Group. Collaborate with diverse teams and leverage your knowledge of electrical design fundamentals. Gain hands-on experience with complex challenges in both office and field settings while aiming for your professional designation.
Key Responsibilities
• Design industrial electrical systems, including schematics and layout drawings
• Model electrical systems using EasyPower/ETAP for studies
• Develop technical specifications and construction packages
• Program power system controls, overseeing implementation and commissioning
• Interface with project teams, clients, and vendors
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering expected in 2027
• Knowledge of AC and DC design fundamentals
• Coursework in electric circuits and power electronics
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
• Previous co-op experience in electrical design is a plus Bring your passion for electrical engineering to Hatch and contribute to innovative solutions globally.
