Position: Estimator
Location: Greater Calgary Area, AB
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000
Overview:
A leading construction and development firm is seeking an Estimator to join its ICI Construction division. This role focuses on accurately preparing cost estimates for interior fit-out and new build construction projects, providing the foundation for successful project planning and execution.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates for interior fit-outs and new build construction projects, including materials, labor, and subcontractor costs.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to refine project scopes and budgets.
- Analyze bid documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to optimize cost efficiency.
- Support the bidding process and participate in pre-construction meetings as needed.
Skills and Experience:
- Construction Expertise: Demonstrated experience in estimating interior fit-out and new build construction projects from start to finish.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in a construction estimating role with a focus on new build projects.
- Education: Post-secondary degree/diploma in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
