Lead Environmental and Social Due Diligence at Arcadis, applying environmental planning expertise to complex global projects and bankable investments.
As a Principal Environmental Consultant, you will guide Environmental and Social Due Diligence and Long-Term Monitoring delivery. Your work supports multilateral banks, export development agencies, and multinational banks across power, energy, mining, and other sectors. You will provide technical oversight, review deliverables, and advise clients on international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish best practices for programmatic IESC delivery
- Approve project deliverables and maintain consistent quality standards
- Lead pursuits, bidding activities, and business development initiatives
- Review projects against applicable international standards
- Participate in missions, stakeholder meetings, and reporting activities
Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher in an appropriate science area
- Fifteen or more years of relevant experience
- Experience delivering ESDD and ESLTM consultancy work
- Expert knowledge of IFC Performance Standards and Equator Principles
- Fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese strongly preferred
