Build scalable AWS cloud applications with Python or Node.js in a hybrid technology role at BMO Financial Group. Design reliable backend services and APIs.
As a Cloud Developer, you will develop, enhance, test, debug, and maintain business cloud applications. The work includes serverless architecture, microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native software. You will translate user needs into technical specifications while supporting cloud processes and application performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable server-side components using Python or Node.js
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
- Optimize applications for speed and scalability
- Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain cloud applications
- Participate in code reviews and provide peer feedback
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science
- Seven to ten years of AWS Cloud Developer experience
- Strong AWS serverless architecture experience
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools
