Inspect HVAC and plumbing systems across Canada as an INVIRO Site Inspector based in Gloucester, Ontario, supporting commercial and retail projects.
This full-time position suits a mechanical professional with at least 10 years of commercial or industrial experience. You will conduct site visits, interpret drawings, specifications, codes, and by-laws, and provide technical support for mechanical equipment. The work includes inspections, verifications, meetings, reporting, and deadline management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visually inspect commercial and retail HVAC and plumbing systems
- Analyze, diagnose, recommend, and support mechanical equipment
- Attend site verifications, inspections, meetings, and other visits
- Prepare accurate reports documenting inspection results
- Provide technical support as requested
Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma, or relevant discipline
- Minimum 10 years commercial or industrial sector experience
- Valid driver’s license, clean record, and reliable vehicle
- Knowledge of Canadian building codes and construction standards
- Ability to travel and work flexible locations and schedules
