BayCare is hiring a full-time Clinical Pharmacist for its Hematology/Oncology team at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, FL. This role is essential in ensuring patient safety and satisfaction through careful medication management.
In this critical position, you will use your clinical pharmacist skills to support quality patient care and optimize medication therapies. You will bridge the gap between patient needs and effective drug management while working with interdisciplinary teams to resolve medication-related issues. Your dedication directly impacts patient outcomes and satisfaction across our community.
Key Responsibilities
• Resolve drug-related problems to ensure patient safety
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for effective treatment plans
• Educate patients on medication usage and health concerns
• Implement cost-saving strategies in medication utilization
• Uphold clinical excellence and contribute to team success
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy is necessary
• Active Florida Pharmacist license is required
• PharmD and experience in acute care are preferred
• Completion of ASHP Accredited PGY1 Residency preferred
