Guidewire test automation drives this hybrid Toronto position, using Java, Python, Selenium, or Playwright to validate insurance workflows. Build quality across enterprise implementations.
As a Guidewire Automation Test Engineer, you will test PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter implementations. You will design testing strategies and collaborate with business analysts, developers, product owners, and Agile teams. The work focuses on functionality, data integrity, integrations, and application updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Guidewire test plans, scenarios, and cases
- Perform regression, integration, functional, and end-to-end testing
- Automate API testing and backend validation
- Integrate automated suites into Jenkins or GitHub Actions pipelines
- Debug failures, track metrics, and drive defect resolution
Requirements:
- Six to ten years of software testing experience
- Dedicated Guidewire implementation and testing experience
- Functional experience with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter
- Automation framework experience using Java, Python, Selenium, or Playwright
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Agile methods, and defect management tools
