This dynamic internship role involves coordinating accessibility education programs that support organizations in meeting accessibility standards. Reporting to the Manager of Compliance and Capacity Building, you will engage with a variety of partners, facilitating crucial initiatives in Nova Scotia's push toward inclusivity. Ideal candidates are those who have graduated recently and are eager to contribute to meaningful change.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee planning and execution of education programs
• Conduct workshops and webinars on accessibility
• Collaborate with public sector and community partners
• Research and develop related policies and programs
• Support the creation of communication materials
Requirements:
• Recent completion of a relevant post-secondary program
• Experience in program design and delivery
• Strong research and analysis capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Utilize this internship as a stepping stone to make a difference in accessibility and inclusivity for Nova Scotians.
