Support students and enhance learning with School District 91 as a Meal Program Worker. This role focuses on food preparation, serving meals, and ensuring food safety in a structured environment.
The Meal Program Worker contributes directly to School District 91’s Meal Program. Working 5.125 hours per day, you will prepare and serve nutritious meals while maintaining high food safety standards. Your role will include logistics such as placing grocery orders and managing daily lunch preparations to support smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and serve meals daily to students
• Maintain food safety practices in food handling
• Support students in food preparation tasks
• Place and manage grocery orders efficiently
• Coordinate daily logistics for lunch orders
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
• Current “Food Safe” certificate required
• Six months experience in a commercial kitchen
• Familiarity with WHMIS and WorkSafeBC procedures
• Valid B.
C. Driver's License class 5 required Bring your culinary skills and passion for student support to School District 91's successful meal initiatives.
