About the Role
Our client, a leader in telecommunications innovation, is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Telecommunications Solutions Architect to join their team in Kimberley, Northern Cape. This critical role involves designing comprehensive and scalable telecommunications solutions tailored to meet the complex needs of enterprise clients. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into robust technical designs, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and technological capabilities. Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end telecommunications solutions, encompassing network, voice, data, and cloud services.
- Collaborate with sales teams, clients, and technical experts to gather requirements and define solution architectures.
- Develop detailed technical proposals, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendors to meet solution requirements.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-effective.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from design to deployment.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance solution offerings.
- Conduct technical presentations and workshops for clients and internal teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing and implementing complex telecommunications solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of various telecommunications technologies, including IP networking, VoIP, cloud communication platforms, wireless technologies (4G/5G), and fiber optics.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong understanding of system integration and interoperability.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with pre-sales and solution design processes.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable.
