Lead financial reporting and accounting operations as Controller at The Link: Youth and Family Supports in Manitoba. Permanent full-time hours run Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the CFO, the Controller manages day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for this not-for-profit organization. The position supports monthly statements, budgets, funding agreements, cash management, and compliant internal controls. It also guides finance staff and collaborates with leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor five finance department staff
- Review monthly transactions and period-end journal entries
- Prepare and analyze financial statements
- Update operating and capital budgets
- Oversee funding agreements, payments, and cash projections
Requirements:
- Three to five years’ financial reporting experience
- Senior Accountant, Supervisor, or Finance Manager background
- CPA designation or equivalent experience
- Strong planning, communication, and analytical skills
- Experience with Sage 300, Payworks, Vivid, Microsoft, or Excel
