Domtar seeks an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist for its Human Resources team. The position supports Sawmill and Woodlands operations through recruitment planning, employer branding, candidate experience, and talent insights. You will advise hiring managers while building pipelines for operational, technical, professional, and leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment across Ontario Sawmill and Woodlands operations
- Develop customized recruitment plans with managers and operational leaders
- Build pipelines for skilled trades and leadership positions
- Source active and passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter
- Provide data-driven recommendations for hiring effectiveness
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related discipline
- Three to five years of recruitment or human resources experience
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies
- Strong Microsoft Office and reporting tool proficiency
- CHRP designation or progress toward designation is an asset
