Lead IFRS-to-US GAAP conversion work from Gatineau, QC, using technical accounting expertise and advanced financial analysis in a hybrid model.
This one-year term project is for a Senior Manager, Finance reporting to the Vice President, Finance. You will coordinate data readiness, reporting redesign, system testing, and comparative financial information across corporate and regional teams. The work supports enterprise-wide financial reporting transition activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead data preparation, reporting alignment, system testing, and comparative analysis
- Validate, cleanse, and upload financial data within project timelines
- Define reporting requirements and resolve output validation issues
- Prepare pro forma statements and IFRS-to-US GAAP analytical bridges
- Support quarterly closes, documentation, issue resolution, and supplemental reporting
Requirements:
- At least eight years in accounting, reporting, consolidations, or finance initiatives
- Deep technical knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
- Advanced Excel and large-data analysis capabilities
- Experience with OneStream, Cognos Controller, HFM, or comparable platforms
- Strong documentation, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills
