Join Onterris as a Senior Environmental Consultant in Edmonton or Calgary, driving sustainable projects that shape environmental policy and practice. This role encompasses leadership in complex environmental assessments and project management.
You will act as a technical authority in environmental site assessments and remediation strategies. Collaborating with regulatory agencies and diverse project teams will be essential as you oversee project scopes and guide junior colleagues. Your leadership and mentorship will not only advance project goals but also foster a supportive team environment committed to quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and lead environmental assessments and remediation projects
• Ensure regulatory compliance in project deliverables
• Act as a technical reviewer for reports and proposals
• Support and mentor junior staff on project tasks
• Analyze data to inform project strategies and decisions
Requirements:
• Degree in environmental science, geology, or engineering preferred
• Over 15 years in environmental consulting
• Strong leadership and communication capabilities
• Knowledge of provincial regulations in Western Canada
