Lead procurement initiatives at CANARIE, ensuring responsible and transparent purchasing practices. This is a full-time role until December 2027, supporting teams in sourcing and procurement.
As Procurement Manager, you will guide complex procurement processes that align with CANARIE's Procurement Policy. Collaborate across teams to procure goods and services, ranging from technical solutions to professional services. Your expertise will enhance vendor relationships, manage contracts, and improve procurement efficiency within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead procurement initiatives from planning to contract award
• Procure technical solutions, hardware, software, and services
• Prepare RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs for procurement
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
• Develop procurement reports with key performance indicators
Requirements:
• 7+ years of progressive procurement experience
• College diploma or university degree in Business
• SCMP designation preferred
• Experience with technology vendors
