Lead plant operations at Silgan Plastics through strong leadership and technical expertise, maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency across manufacturing functions.
This Plant Manager provides direction to plant staff and aligns tactical and strategic facility plans with corporate goals. The position coordinates internal, external, and cross-functional functions while maintaining product safety and quality. It also manages operating performance, budgets, compliance, and customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead plant staff toward efficient, cohesive operations
- Meet safety, quality, efficiency, and budget goals
- Maintain regulatory and internal SOX compliance
- Review operating indices and respond to variations
- Prepare budgets and business reports for management
Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline
- Minimum five years of plant management experience
- Experience managing diverse technical plastics staff
- Communication, leadership, budgeting, computer, and presentation skills
