Deliver community-based occupational therapy and psychotherapy with FunctionAbility in Windsor, the GTA, Barrie, or Toronto. Apply clinical reasoning across diverse client needs.
As a Community Based Occupational Therapist Psychotherapist, you will assess and treat neurological, orthopedic, and mental health conditions. You will create individualized treatment plans, support meaningful goals, and collaborate with multidisciplinary rehabilitation professionals. FunctionAbility provides psychotherapy supervision and a mixed psychotherapy and non-psychotherapy caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat neurological, orthopedic, and mental health conditions
- Assist clients with meaningful goals in home and community settings
- Create individualized treatment plans using occupational analysis
- Liaise with community partners and rehabilitation professionals
- Maintain professional knowledge through training and personal networks
Requirements:
- University degree in Occupational Therapy
- Good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle
- Minimum one year of general occupational therapy mental health experience
- CBT, ACT, or DBT course completion
