Lead software delivery and quality at MaintainX, managing five to six developers across a product or platform engineering team. Montreal and Toronto hubs are available.
As a Software Development Manager, you will turn roadmaps into reliable software for MaintainX's industrial operations platform. Teams include Reporting, Identity and Access Management, and Search. The work combines technical leadership, people development, delivery planning, and cross-functional partnership with Product Managers and Designers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage five to six developers and set daily priorities
- Own delivery and quality for your team's area
- Partner with Product Managers and Designers on delivery
- Coach developers and support career planning
- Champion CI/CD, code quality, and observability practices
Requirements:
- Two to three years of people leadership experience
- Senior-level system design and computer science fundamentals
- Comfort with modern web technologies and technical design
- Project management experience; Jira experience preferred
- Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bring people leadership, system design, and delivery expertise to MaintainX's Reporting, access, or Search engineering teams.
