Lead shop operations for Applied Industrial Technologies in Edmonton, applying safety leadership and quality management to industrial services.
The full time Shop Manager supports Applied Canada’s business plan through customer service, operations management, safety, quality, and people leadership. This position oversees shop processes, production planning, customer-owned products, and continuous improvement. It requires manufacturing and repair knowledge, organized execution, and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop efficient day-to-day shop facility operations
- Lead safety programs, meetings, and compliant processes
- Maintain the shop Quality System and standards
- Schedule work based on priorities, equipment, and personnel skills
- Serve as primary technical contact for shop services customers
Requirements:
- Five to seven years’ shop setting experience
- Shop management experience preferred
- Manufacturing and repair process knowledge
- Work order management and Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to mentor teams and work independently
