Maintain industrial equipment, boilers, and production systems at Smurfit Westrock in Milton. This 433A millwright role supports a rotating 24/7 schedule.
The Industrial Equipment Maintenance Millwright works with the maintenance team in a corrugated box manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will troubleshoot plant equipment, maintain preventative programs, and support installation and occasional equipment design. The role also includes minor electrical repairs, safe resets, bearing fits, and occupational health and safety support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to production equipment and facility breakdowns
- Maintain heating, steam, boiler, and energy systems
- Assist with equipment installation and occasional design
- Make required fits for antifriction bearings and services
- Support plant occupational health and safety program development
Requirements:
- Licensed Industrial Millwright 433A
- High school diploma
- Three to five years in Canadian manufacturing
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
- Ability to support a 24/7 operation safely
