As a Licensed Optician, you will interpret optical prescriptions and provide personalized frame and lens recommendations. You will work with retail and clinical teams while supporting customer experience. The position includes eyewear measurements, quality checks, after-care services, and product education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret prescriptions and explain customers’ visual needs
- Recommend frames, lenses, treatments, and promotions
- Perform dispensing measurements using digital tools
- Complete eyewear quality assurance checks
- Resolve after-care concerns and customer complaints
Requirements:
- Hold a valid provincial Dispensing Optician License
- Register with the College of Opticians
- Have at least two years’ customer service experience
- Work reliably and flexibly during retail hours
- Remain organized and composed under pressure
