The Faculty of Social Sciences seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor for its School of Political Studies. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in Public Policy and maintain a strong research and publication record. Teaching spans undergraduate and graduate Public Administration Programs, alongside graduate supervision and participation in educational and administrative activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Public Policy courses at undergraduate level
- Teach Public Policy courses at graduate level
- Supervise graduate students in Public Administration Programs
- Undertake research and publication activities
- Participate in University educational and administrative activities
Requirements:
- PhD in Public Policy or related discipline
- Public Policy teaching ability at appointment
- Teaching ability in both English and French
- Strong teaching record
- Strong research and publication record
Use bilingual instruction, graduate supervision, and published research to contribute to the University of Ottawa’s Public Policy programs.
