Educate future leaders at McGill University as a Course Lecturer for EDER 649: Multicultural Societies. This in-person position focuses on majority-minority relations and their educational implications.
Join the Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE) for the Winter 2027 term. Ideal candidates hold a PhD in education, sociology, or related fields, alongside a strong grounding in multiculturalism theories. You will engage students in critical discussions and foster a deep understanding of diversity across educational contexts.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach EDER 649 on Multicultural Societies
• Engage students in multicultural theories and policy critiques
• Integrate equity and diversity in pedagogical approaches
• Use technology platforms for effective teaching
• Deliver content in person or potentially remotely
Requirements:
• PhD in relevant fields or extensive relevant experience
• Knowledge of multiculturalism and social justice frameworks
• Proven engagement in critical analysis of educational policies
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools and blended learning
• Strong English communication skills Inspire and shape educational conversations on diversity at McGill University.
