Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to support a portfolio of finance and supply chain applications.

This is a 100% in office role in downtown Calgary.

6 month contract with potential for extension

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to support a portfolio of Finance and Supply Chain applications, including upgrades and enhancements to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Ivalua. You will work with business stakeholders to understand requests, gather and document requirements, and prepare clear information for a third-party vendor to deliver the changes.

The role also involves project coordination, including tracking schedules, milestones, risks and outstanding actions. An interest in using AI to improve analysis and work more efficiently is an asset.

Must-Haves

• Experience as a Business Analyst, including gathering, analyzing and documenting business requirements.
• Experience supporting Finance or Supply Chain business processes or applications; experience in both is preferred.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders to clarify needs and translate requests into clear requirements for technical teams or vendors.
• Experience producing business analysis documentation, such as requirements, process flows, user stories or acceptance criteria.
• Experience with project coordination, including tracking schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies or action items.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or Ivalua.
• Experience supporting application upgrades, enhancements or vendor-delivered changes.
• Experience working with third-party application or implementation vendors.
• Practical experience using AI tools to support business analysis, create project artifacts, automate repetitive tasks or build custom agents and workflows.

What You Will Do

• Work with Finance and Supply Chain stakeholders to understand requests, clarify business needs and gather requirements.
• Analyze requests and document requirements, process flows, user stories and acceptance criteria as appropriate.
• Prepare clear requirements and supporting documentation for the third-party vendor responsible for delivering changes.
• Work with stakeholders and vendors to clarify questions, address gaps and confirm that proposed solutions meet business needs.
• Track schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies and action items associated with requests and upgrades.
• Support testing and business validation of delivered changes, where required.
• Explore practical ways to use AI to improve analysis, documentation and repeatable work activities.
