This Director of Engineering leads cloud infrastructure and shared engineering services. The scope spans platform operations, observability, identity, CI/CD, compliance, and AI governance. The role supports innovation while maintaining reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own cloud platform strategy, operations, security, governance, and finances
- Lead infrastructure, operations, observability, identity, and CI/CD teams
- Drive FedRAMP readiness and broader compliance frameworks
- Govern cloud costs through forecasting, budgeting, and FinOps optimization
- Build high-performing teams and improve developer experience
Requirements:
- 10+ years in software engineering, cloud, or platform disciplines
- 5+ years leading engineering managers or technical teams
- Deep public cloud expertise, preferably AWS
- Experience maintaining private cloud and large-scale SaaS platforms
- Strong security, governance, financial, and executive communication skills
