We are partnering with an established, growing organization to find an experienced HR Business Partner to join its Human Resources team. This is a hands‑on, strategic role supporting senior leaders across a broad range of HR functions, including workforce planning, employee relations, talent management, compensation, organizational development, and change management.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, helping align people strategies with business objectives while supporting a positive, engaging, and effective workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders to understand business priorities and provide strategic HR guidance.
  • Coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead talent reviews, succession planning, workforce planning, and employee development initiatives.
  • Support organizational design, restructuring, and change management initiatives.
  • Provide guidance on compensation, job evaluations, salary reviews, promotions, and internal equity.
  • Lead or support employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
  • Use workforce data and employee feedback to identify trends and recommend solutions.
  • Support the implementation of HR programs, policies, and initiatives across assigned business units.
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and leadership effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience in an HR Business Partner or senior HR advisory capacity.
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership and providing practical, business-focused HR guidance.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation programs, job evaluation, and annual compensation cycles.
  • Experience with organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
  • Strong employee relations and performance management experience.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, analytical, and influencing skills.
  • A university degree or college diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or similarly complex operational environment would be considered an asset.
