Practice acupuncture and patient-centered care at Zen Acupuncture & Wellness YYC in Calgary, with moxibustion and herbal knowledge. This full-time, on-site position supports individualized wellness care.
The Licensed Acupuncturist provides direct care in a professional clinical setting. You will conduct consultations, develop treatment plans, and perform acupuncture, moxibustion, and related therapies. The work also includes clinical documentation, patient education, progress monitoring, and collaboration with wellness practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient consultations and assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Perform acupuncture, moxibustion, and related therapies
- Maintain accurate clinical records and monitor progress
- Educate patients about wellness and treatment expectations
Requirements:
- Current Alberta licensure or registration as an Acupuncturist
- Strong foundation in Medicine and Oriental Medicine
- Proficiency in acupuncture assessment and needle insertion
- Knowledge of herbs and basic prescribing principles
- Relevant accredited acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine diploma
