Build AI-powered software in Asana’s Vancouver office, applying distributed systems expertise and modern software testing practices. Work follows an office-centric hybrid schedule.
Asana is hiring Software Engineers across core AI teams supporting platform foundations, runtime infrastructure, trust, evaluation, observability, and product surfaces. You will develop services for intelligent collaboration and agentic automation while working with foundation models, prompt pipelines, and workflow orchestration. A centralized interview process leads to team matching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement features and services powering intelligent collaboration
- Write modular, tested code across Asana’s stack
- Monitor production pipelines and diagnose distributed-system bugs
- Break specifications into milestones and technical estimates
- Review code and address technical debt
Requirements:
- Two or more years shipping production software
- Experience with distributed architectures, web services, or data-intensive systems
- Strong software design, testing, and data structures fundamentals
- Interest in LLMs, vector databases, or agentic frameworks
- Clear collaboration with product and engineering partners
